Beginning Quilting (Charm Pack Quilt)
Make this 38" x 42.5" quilt with a charm pack and 3/4 yard of fabric. It is just right for your first quilt or for a quick project. The class consists of 3 sessions, 3 hrs each.
The First Session will include using a rotary cutter and piecing the top.
The Second Session will include learning to pin baste quilt layers and basic quilting techniques using your sewing machine.
The Third Session will cover making binding and stitching it to the quilt using your sewing machine.
BASIC SUPPLY LIST:
Sewing Machine in good working order, scissors, thread snips, pins, marking chalk or pen, or pencil, seam ripper, Rotary Cutter & Cutting Mat, Ruler for rotary cutter, safety pins, 1/4" foot & Walking foot (if you have one).
FABRIC REQUIRED:
42 - 5" Charm squares
3/4yd Sashing and Borders
1 1/4yd Backing
1/3yd Binding
1 1/4yd Batting
