• The basic stitch path of the continuous curve
• Deciding where a continuous line design would fit well
• How to stitch out the design using free motion or rulers
• How to add interest to the centers with basic center designs while not breaking the thread
• How to use other shapes in the same stitch path to change the design

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details:
Instructor: Mary Yoder, Handi Quilter National Educator
Instructor Bio: Over 40 years ago, Mary made her first quilt from leftover scraps from garment sewing, backed it with a purchased blanket, and called it a quilt. She continued making quilts but did not like finishing them on her domestic sewing machine. When she saw the HQ Sixteen?, Mary knew it was for her. Once the Pro-Stitcher? came out she added it to her machine and now loves finishing her quilts using Pro-Stitcher along with other free motion techniques. Mary has now upgrade to a HQ Forte? and is loving the extra space it gives her. Mary has taught different aspects of sewing for over 20 years. She has enjoyed focusing her teaching skills toward the art of quilting and is excited to have joined Handi Quilter as an Educator.
